Laser Gum Treatment

A dental laser is a tool that uses a highly concentrated beam of light to remove or shape gum tissues into a proper dental architecture. Our doctors will first numb the area around the tooth with a local anesthetic. Once the patient is numb, our doctors will use the laser to remove and repair infected tissue. The laser energy vaporizes the decayed tissue, leaving behind a clean, smooth surface. The laser is also used by our hygienist to disinfect areas around the tooth.
